Every surface in DodoBird carries a deliberate contrast: exposed industrial ductwork sits above tiered brass chandeliers, raw wood beams frame gold-leafed mirrors, and a hand-illustrated dodo pairing presides over leather banquettes. The result reads as collected rather than designed — a room that feels like it has been there for years.
The bar anchors the room in glazed sea-green tile, wrapping a marble counter that mirrors the brass fixtures suspended above it. Behind the counter, a wall of salvaged-wood shadow boxes doubles as both display and acoustic treatment, breaking up the long sightline into the open kitchen.
Brand and interior were developed together: the menu's typography and color story echo the dining room's brass-and-forest palette, so the printed materials a guest takes home feel like a continuation of the space, not a separate decision made after the fact.
